At a time when I had a problem that could not be solved with finesse, diplomacy or tact (brute force was necessary) I saw a painting of Saint George at a show of Ethiopian Christian art. That was who I needed at my back. More Images here.

I find it so strange that the composition in all those pictures is the same. Is there some religious reasoning behind that? The St. has to be on the left of the picture? The dragon has to be on the right?

I like the intro you added.

Thanks Josh ....well stated ...... being an agent of change doesn't always mean being on the defense ...but being on the offense like Saint George.
Look forward to next month's saint !

Hey Josh, great saint for November. Wouldn't it be great if St G could step up to Dick Cheney and his gang of merry pranksters and skewer them? Attrition will do it for us.
